TERM AND CONDITION

Last Updated: April 2025

Thank you for choosing to travel with us. We are committed to delivering meaningful, responsible, and well-organized experiences — but as with all travel, some things are outside of our control. These Terms & Conditions are here to make everything clear between us.

Booking and Payment

  • To secure your place on one of our trips, we require a 30% – 40% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 60%-70% Can be paid no later than 7 days before departure or must be paid on arrival day one!
  • If your booking is made within 30 days of the trip start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Why do we ask this? Because we book all accommodation & transfers for you in advance to secure spots, and we need to pay up the service providers too!

How to Choose Your Vacation Package?

  • The information we present on this website is complete with information & promotional banners that will give you an idea of what kind of holiday package you want to choose.
  • You are free to choose any private trip with the best version of what you want, besides that, we will try to provide additional or subtracted things. what you want to determine, for example an open trip service or joining another trip group where the date and budget have already been determined.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before the trip start date: 30%-40% deposit is non-refundable; any additional payments will be refunded.
  • 15–30 days before the trip: 50% refund of total trip cost, if you have made 100% payment .
  • Less than 15 days before the trip or no-show: No refund.
  • Please note: We cannot offer refunds for services missed due to late arrivals, early departures, illness, or weather-related disruptions.

If we have to cancel due to any reason from our side, you naturally get 100% refund.

Force Majeure & Weather Conditions

  • All our trips take place in nature and depend on weather and sea conditions. In the event of adverse weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events, we reserve the right to alter, reschedule, or substitute activities in your itinerary. We will always do our absolute best to provide alternative experiences that are safe, enjoyable, and in line with your expectations.
  • However, refunds/conpensations cannot be given for weather-related changes, cancellations, or for guests who are unable to participate due to illness or injury. This is standard practice, as we pay all our local service providers (guides, dive shops, transport, etc.) in full regardless of circumstances.

Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all guests hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, delays, illness, accidents, and adventure activities such as diving or trekking.
  • We do not provide travel insurance, and most of the local service providers do not include it either. It is your responsibility to ensure you are covered.

Responsibility & Liability

We act as Travel Agent/Organizer or a travel facilitator and service reseller. That means:

  • We package and coordinate experiences provided by third-party partners (e.g., dive shops, trekking companies, homestays, transport operators).
  • We take great care in choosing partners who share our values and operate responsibly.
  • We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or service quality of third-party providers. However, we will assist you in resolving any issues that arise during your trip to the best of our ability.
  • As a travel agent, we are responsible for completing your trip, even if there are travel disruptions due to damage to equipment or mechanical land/sea vehicles, even if there are several activity items that must be skipped for safety reasons, then there is no refund or compensation as long as the core trip can be completed.

Business Model & Transparency

We believe in doing business fairly — for everyone involved.

  • We pay our local service providers in full, without asking for discounts. This helps support sustainable livelihoods and keeps tourism income in the community.

We add a small commission to the base price of your trip to cover:

  • Customer service
  • Trip design and coordination
  • Marketing and outreach
  • Operational costs

By booking with us, you’re not only getting a unique, handpicked travel experience — you’re directly supporting responsible tourism in Sumbawa.

Health & Safety

  • If you have dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or require special arrangements, please inform us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
